Know when to make a fresh start
Do we know when you need a fresh start in life? Hello everyone, it's Doc Mozy again. The only thing that keeps us all alive is hope, hope of some form, for something of some form (Doc Mozy) Life can be tough. You may feel you are not coping at some point. The greatest gift is having that feeling that you are not copying. Recognition that all is not well is crucial. It may be a physical ailment. You may feel stressed and depressed. It may even be a social or economic need. When you get that feeling, you have been afforded an opportunity. It is that sixth sense.
That small voice inside you. Others will call it the Holy Spirit speaking to you. Whatever you call it, that is your red flag, the barometer. How you proceed from here determines the outcomes. You could carry on doing the same. You could stop and reach out. Alternatively you could stop and rewind. Or, you can have a fresh start. Life does not stop, it stops only for you when you die.
Some have likened life to a train. you get on it when you are born. At each station, some people will and others board. You leave the train when you die. When the train driver loses the brakes you have a runaway train. You can no longer control what is in your life. I do not like this analogy. For We have control over our lives. I like to look at life as a big road with multiple exits. As you drive along this road you have many options. You can stop. You can accelerate. You can turn into an avenue, cresecent or a close. Each of these options takes you to a point in your life. Some of these turns have opportunities and others calamities.
The good thing is you can rectify a wrong turn. If you stay on the high way, you may miss opportunities that some turns can offer. If you accelerate you may start losing control. The good thing is, you can decide to stop, even reverse. Imagine a newly born baby. Life is too slow for this baby. It depends on others for everything. The baby has exciting moments as it grows and learns self-care. As this babay develops into adulthood, it takes on more and more challenges. It takes up challenges becouse it needs to and sometimes just because it can.
Taking up challenges is akin to accelerating on the road analogy. As I said, the sixth sense inside you is the early warning sign. It requires action. Do not ignore it. Common mistakes include trying to suppress the feeling. And there are several things people take up for suppression. What we often see are the manifestations of attempts to suppress the feeling. If you are affected or have this early warning sign please seek help. See a doctor or get in touch with support services. Support line +44 1708 765200 Email: info@supportline.org.uk
